132nd Painting
  • Title : The Empty Tomb
  • Painter : L.S. ’17 (L. Sugiri SJ, 2017)
  • Acrylic on Canvas : 70 x 90 cm
  • Explanation : When Peter and John entered the tomb of Jesus, they saw the situation, and were convinced that Jesus was gone, alive. They did not see the body of Jesus, they saw the linen cloth which was wrapped around the body, was lying on the table and beside it lay the napkin for the head, rolled up. All this was a clear sign that the body of Jesus was not stolen by the disciples, as was told by the rumors, a hoax made by the Jewish priests (Luc 24:1-12).
Lukisan ke-132
  • Judul : Kuburan Kosong
  • Pelukis : L.S. ’17 (L. Sugiri SJ, 2017)
